Introducing Campie

Dear blog world,
Hi! I'm Cammie! Suuuuper awesome of you to stop by our bloggie blog....it's gonna be bonkin up in hurr fo sheezy. I'm super duper psyched....hollerrr! For the next year, my sister who is the bomb diggity for shiggity, and I, will be reading our way through the Bantam Books Love Stories series. Here is my intro for your reading pleasure.
When I was a young teen, well, I was horrendous. I was also incredibly shy and had no friends. Yep, it's true, I haven't changed a bit! But at least I have blogs to help cope with it now. Back then, all I had was, well, Love Stories. From Leigh and Christian in Hard to Resist, to Shauna and Chad in Crushing on You, there was always someone around to remind that someday I would finally find love! I anxiously read through each book, re-reading my favorites over and over and feeling just as excited each time the poor, unrecognized hero or heroin finally gets noticed by her true love and the book finally ends in that beautiful, junior-year-of-high-school-innocent-kiss! Abbey soon followed in my footsteps (because, well, who wouldn't want to be me) and as a pre-teen was just as enraptured in the teenage love stories as I was.
As we now look back on our childhood, we laugh and laugh at the amazingly terrible things we read. But Love Stories will forever be our favorite embarrassing phase.
This year, our plan is to re-read each book that was part of our teenage years- we did not read every book in the series, but we have compiled a list of over 25 favorites, and will read and review one book per week until we have delighted all of our faithful blog followers with synopses and favorites of each title.
Will we survive this trek back to high school? Back to the days when popular girls got crushes on their dorky tutors, when shy guys could still capture the attention of a cheerleader who is looking for more than just blond hair and a convertible, and where true love always conquers all? There's only one way to find out- stay tuned, suckas!!
Here is a preview of the synopsis of our first book- a little something to bribe you into coming back for more. This tantalizing novel is called It's Different For Guys, and the synopsis is courtesy of amazon.com's description page:

"Rob Barden and his buds are ready to party. No school, lots of sun, and pretty girls in bikinis--the ultimate Spring Break, California style. When the guys hit the sand, Rob lucks out big time. The producers of the TV dating game Beach Babes ask him to compete on their show! Rob decides to go for it...he'd love the chance to meet someone special.

After two dates from hell, he's ready to throw in his beach towel. Then he meets girl number three, Darcy King, and he knows his search is over. But Rob's so awed by this beach beauty that he acts like a complete idiot around her! Can he find a way to wow Darcy--or will he blow his chance with his dream girl on national TV?"
